Hello Downtown Grocery Shopper,
Happy Happy New Year! We hope you've had a wonderful and safe holiday season! For those enjoying outdoor sports the new snow has been great. The snow too has piled high on top of our horse-drawn sleigh and Christmas tree in front of the store. Though, a good amount of the snow in our wintery scene has melted with the mild temperatures lately, but nornal temps of below 30 deg are in the forecast per our friends at WAOW TV-9.

3. Fruit Cakes (you can cut with a butter knife) available again
"Attention all fruit cakes lover whom did not know that they were fruit cake lovers!" The delicious fruit cake that we baked in our kitchen two weeks ago that was eaten by our shoppers within three days is again available! Kris, our Monday baker, made a double batch this week and we made them in smaller loaves, too. A frequent shoppers enjoyed one of our loaves the first time and she said "...this is a wonderful fruit cake and you can cut it with a butter knife!"
