SPECIAL NOTE: Some readers may have received a newsletter this weekend. That was a trial message as we were testing systems. Typically, newsletters will be sent about once a week (or for special events or unique features).
TURKEYS: We've had a great response to our pre-order service for Certified Organic Thanksgiving Turkeys. We'll plan another turkey pre-order for the December Holidays.
NEW ITEMS: Tasty items that arrived this past week:
1. Local & Organic Mixed Salad Greens from the greenhouse at Moonshadow Farm. The farm is located west of town near Little Chicago
2. Tangerines --- a nice pocket-sized fruit
3. A big variety of cheeses from Bletsoe's in Marathon
4. Wheatgrass --- perfect for juice smoothies
5. Crunchy Mixed Bean Sprouts
6. Bulk foods packaged in our kitchen for easy-carryout --- such as yellow split peas, french lintels, raisins, wheat bran
7. Stravecchio Parmesan Double-aged Cheese --- awarded the Gold Medal and "the Best US Cow Cheese" at the World Cheese Awards in London, England, June 2006
8. Fresh Spinach Linguini from RP's Pasta Co in Madison
9. Local & Organic Yukon Gold Potatoes from Moonshadow Farm.
