The missing strip of tin ceiling is seen in the photo below. The tin had been removed in the 1950's to provide a place to secure the drop ceiling. We looked at options to find replacement tin but an exact match was not found. Our solutin was to install wood boards and paint them to match the ceiling. This idea worked well because the wood boards served as a platform to run the conduits for the electric light fixtures.
